73.85 HYBRID is a collection driven by my obsession for music and my fascination for post modern art collective Memphis Milano. My research Process was all about finding that connection between the social and political climate between 1973-1985 and to the recent events we are experiencing around the globe today. I wanted to investigate how artists and designers responded to the Zeitgeist spirit of their time, and their iconic body of work that still inspire creatives today. Their response was outrageously full of color, optimism and positivity despite the issues facing humanity at that time they have great sense of freedom, subversive, experimental and Brave. So I took bits and pieces between two decades and not just one, blending the past and the present mixing them together until my clothes no longer belong to any particular time period creating new silhouettes that maybe can only exist in the Future!

Trying to mirror the Zeitgeist is tricky but i hope I did something new, because for us to be able to predict the future we must create it.
